John Cayias, Ph.D.

Dr. Cayias is a consultant based in the Dallas Fort Worth metroplex area providing technical and operational expertise in the chemical, mining, and oil and gas industries. He has worked in the industry for over 25 years prior to beginning his consulting work and has provided both training and instruction in various areas during this time. His experience spans a broad range of operational issues and technological challenges to solve complex and challenging problems and provide insight and problem solving for his clients. His understanding of safety issues such as process safety management, safe operating practices, and chemical hazards such as hydrogen sulfide provide him with a strong set of tools to identify problems and issues in operations which includes forensic work. He has been able to use his knowledge of risk assessment and technology to optimize the understanding of problems and identify root cause issues in ongoing operations in many countries.
